I first met Maximilian in Chicago at the DLG in 2014. He was a recent grad from as he described it, “A Money focused College”. He was interested in leaders, innovators, and people who made a lot of money.

After a series of discussions Max had a whole collection of mash-up style paintings available. The background is a famous painting from Art History and the foreground is a current day Popular Culture Icon.

These are fantastic large scale oil paintings. The smaller ones are a printed sketch of his art that are hand painted over in a “remarque” style.
